Tony Windsor | VP of Suppliers & Business Development
Tony entered the world in Columbus, Georgia and has lived in over a dozen U.S. cities. He attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Central Florida. His career path began with over 30 years in broadcasting, primarily in local TV news as a reporter, anchorman, manager and professional development consultant before coming to the tour and travel industry.
He began working with Alcatraz Media in 2003 and now heads the staff that develops and maintains relationships with the company’s thousands of tour, activity and travel suppliers.

Favorite travel experiences: The night tour at Alcatraz, double decker buses in London, USS Arizona Memorial in Honolulu and golf anywhere.

Barbara Gray Windsor | VP of Operations
Originally hailing from Dallas, Texas, Barbara attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Previously, her career positions include Office Manager for Windsor Communications, Inc. (a publishing and trade show company) and VP of Operations for First Communications, Inc. (a trade show, conference, and internet job/resume business). Barbara started working for Alcatraz Media in 2003 at the company headquarters in Atlanta.

Sondra Shumaker | Director of Sales
Sondra had an exciting start to her travel career as the Director of Group and Charter Sales for Windjammer Barefoot Cruises based in Miami, Florida. In this position, she enjoyed 10 years of organizing every conceivable type of group event on different island destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond. Sondra relocated back to her hometown of Atlanta in 2006, where she joined the team of Alcatraz Media as the Director Sales. Her main focus has been expanding the Group and Charter Department. Given Alcatraz Media’s vast travel partner network, the potential of the department was virtually unlimited which has presented an even more thrilling challenge for Sondra and her staff. She quickly organized the core department which offers group travel and destination management services worldwide. She also developed a key tool in our convention services, the webpage www.ManageMyConvention.com, and continues to improve and expand on the service and markets offered.

Favorite travel experience: Trip to a little island off the coast of Madagascar, Nosy Baraha. We stayed in an open air hut, slept under mosquito nets, hiked the rainforest where we saw lizards, lemurs and leeches (yuck), caught our food with the locals and had to ‘tie down’ our belongings before each day’s activities or the monkeys would take them!
And the impromptu weekend to Rome this year was pretty cool!

Julia Brady | Reservations Manager
A native of Jamaica, Julia attended Hunter College in New York City. She has traveled throughout the east coast from Miami to New York City, and also loves to visit the islands. Julia previously worked for Carnival Cruise Lines in Miami in both the Reservations and Group Departments. She joined Alcatraz Media in 2005 as a Reservations Agent, earned the title of Lead Reservations Agent, and was promoted to Reservations Manager in September 2011. With over ten years of customer service experience, Julia enjoys helping people, and has two wonderful children.

Sonya R. Chase | Ticketing Manager
A native of Ohio, Sonya enjoyed attending Urbana University, where she majored in Psychology and Social Service. She and her college sweetheart married and relocated to Atlanta in the late 80’s. Sonya and her husband Charles then went on to raise two wonderful children while building their careers.
Over the years, Sonya has worked with non-profit organizations and has over 20 years experience in customer service and call-center management. Sonya joined the Alcatraz Media team in 2005 and has worked very diligently to build and fine tune our Ticketing and Reservation policies and procedures, while staying focused on the day to day operations. Sonya enjoys helping people.

Janice Cullen | Accounting Manager
Born in St. Louis and raised in Nova Scotia and Georgia; wherever she hangs her hat she calls home. Janice completed a marketing and management program at Columbus Technical College after high school and immediately went to work in the hotel industry. She worked in the hospitality operations field for 18 years holding positions as administrative assistant, human resource manager, and room’s division manager for a large hotel chain.
Janice moved into the corporate arena in 1992, taking a position as a franchise service manager in Atlanta. Wanting to experience something different as her two children completed college; she took a course in computer information systems at Gwinnett Technical College in 2001. For a short time, Janice co-owned a small mail service company and then she worked for a private rehab mortgage company. After realizing that she missed the travel industry, Janice joined Alcatraz Media in July 2007 to support the accounting department.

Disa Kelly | Social Media & Advertising Coordinator
Born and raised in the Motor City, Disa (pronounced ‘dye-suh’) attended Georgia State University, where she graduated with a B.A. in English, specializing in creative writing. She joined the Alcatraz team as a Reservations Agent in 2008, and about a year later she became the Sales Admin for the Groups & Charters department. Now part of the Operations branch, Disa assists with advertising initiatives and manages the company’s Social Media accounts. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, travelling, and watching independent films.
